The Last Human Right

Exercise your right to condemn.

I condemn those of you who only live to ‘get by’. You are by no means suffering more than those who do speak up so that others might get the chance to live.

I condemn your ‘righteous’ pursuit of nothing more than a life of ‘peace.’ Your concept of peace is as shallow as your coexistence with others who would probably sacrifice their lives for you if the situation were reversed.

I condemn those who prefer their very petty lives unruffled by anything greater than themselves.

I condemn those of you without allegiances or causes. You are empty. Purposeless.

I condemn those who won’t even try to find their own strength, let alone acknowledge its existence (if any), for fear that this would reveal their weaknesses.

I condemn those who avoid conflict and confrontation in any circumstance that necessitates facing them.

I condemn those who casually claim to “hate politics.” It’s the weakest shield to mask ignorance and apathy towards change. Try again.

I condemn those who reduce freedom, honour, truth, and principles to mere ploys for ‘art,’ ‘literature,’ or, worst of all – engagement rates. You make money look like the least of all evils. In fact, even evil would sound appealing if it were to condemn you.

I condemn those who live modestly, love and fuck superficially, and then die inconspicuously. What a pathetic philosophy it is to believe that by keeping things small, you can keep them manageable. Or if you stay quiet, the monsters would spare you.

I condemn those who claim to have weathered a lifetime of struggle and pain, but are happy to die a natural death—whether by old age, a common disease, or an accident. What was the point in surviving all those trials, only to accept anything less than a noble death?

Even the narrowest paths or the widest roads will lead to the same end, just as the smallest candle eventually burns out like the blazing sun.

I condemn you for not using the freedom to choose how you burn.
